Carlos Ruvaga (41) stands at the roundabout of Nairobi Railways Bus Station, the largest bus stop in the city. As Sacco Manager, Carlos is responsible for the 52 buses of the Ongata line that runs from here to Rongai. Whenever there is a problem, accidents, fire, engine problems, gangsters, attempted murders, his phone rings. In 2010, the government had urged bus owners to form cooperatives to stop crimes which were commietet by Matatu-Kartels. These cooperatives are called Saccos.
