The coexistence of people and sheep in Senegal, as seen here on Yoff beach in Dakar, seems very harmonious. in fact, however, people keep the sheep for one purpose above all - namely to slaughter them at the Tabaski Festival, known as the festival of sheep, and to have a feast.
